BOYERTOWN PA – Free dental screenings, made possible by the collaboration of a Pottstown health care provider and two Boyertown agencies, will be offered weekly on Friday mornings beginning July 24 (2009) in the Boyertown Multi-Service Center, Spring Street. Patients interested in this service must call 610-326-7405 to schedule an appointment.
Availability of the screenings was announced Wednesday (July 15, 2009) by Carolyn Brunschwyler, executive director of Community Health and Dental Care, 11 Robinson St., Pottstown PA.
“These free screenings are made possible through the collaborative efforts of the United Way of Boyertown Area, supplying the funding; Community Health and Dental Care, supplying the dentist and dental assistant; and the Boyertown Multi-Service Center supplying the facility. Just another example of the community working together!,” Brunschwyler wrote in an e-mail.
She noted that appointments must be scheduled through Community Health and Dental at 610-326-7405, and not with the Multi-Service Center. Patients will be informed of the dentist’s findings following the screening.
