POTTSTOWN PA – Think of this, possibly, as a really local version of “America’s Got Talent.”
Six young women, similarly dressed in white tops and khaki-colored shorts, perform a synchronized hip-hop routine and are filmed from an audience seat about 30 feet away from and to the right of the stage.

This undated clip, uploaded Thursday (July 17, 2009) to the YouTube user account of NazieBabi and titled “Pottstown high school Talent show 2009,” probably was recorded last month (June 2009) using someone’s cell phone videocamera during year-end activities at Pottstown (PA) High School, and then promptly forgotten. No matter, it’s worth seeing for its entertainment value.
It’s unedited, however, so viewers can save themselves some time (and actually enjoy more of the routine) by allowing the video to download first and then sliding the timing button forward to 01m:35s. Press the play button to start at that point, and it’s an interesting show.

A second clip, also uploaded Thursday – and although not similarly labeled, seemingly a different portion of the same talent show – involves the performance of two high school-age rapper-singers with decent voices and cadence, and good stage presence.
